Candidate Zoom Interviews!

Dear Fellow Good Samaritans,

We come before you with hearts full of gratitude and hope as we embark on the important task of finding the next rector for Good Samaritan. We lift up in prayer the three rector candidates who have been selected for further consideration. We will begin Zoom interviews with them next week.  We ask that you grant them wisdom, courage, and a sense of peace as they discern whether this is the right path for their ministry. May they be filled with your spirit and equipped with the gifts needed to serve and lead the congregation at Good Samaritan faithfully.

Lord, we trust in your perfect timing, knowing that you have a plan for Good Samaritan and for each of the candidates involved. If it be your will, we humbly ask that the search committee may be able to recommend a final candidate to the vestry by the end of summer. May this individual be the one you have prepared to lead the congregation into the next chapter of their spiritual journey.

We surrender this entire process into your hands, knowing that you are the ultimate guide and source of wisdom. May your will be done in all things, and may your grace and peace be upon the candidates, the search committee, and the entire congregation of Good Samaritan.
