Feast of St. Francis – Blessing of the Animals
October 3, 2021 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
We will have a Blessing of the Animals liturgy Sunday afternoon, October 3 at 4:00 pm outside in the parking lot.
Please forward pictures of your pets to Mari O’Neil asap if you would like them to be included in the Blessing of the Animals bulletin photo montage!
We will also have goodie bags for you and your pets to take home! Pet owners can choose to stick around with their animals for the first Play, Pray, and Pizza gathering at 4:30 pm if their pets are child-friendly and like being petted by strangers! Be sure to wear your mask.

Play, Pray, and Pizza
October 3, 2021 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
We are starting a new all-ages gathering held on the first Sunday night of the month. Each Play, Pray and Pizza night will have a range of activities that families and individuals can choose – all related to a particular theme. After 45 minutes of play, we’ll gather for a 15 – 20 minute time of worship that centers around involving children. Then pizza will be served!
Our first event will be October 3 and the theme will be St. Francis and the Love of Creation. We will have a blessing of the animals liturgy at 4:00 pm outside the church followed by Play, Pray and Pizza at 4:30 pm. We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to host an activity station – we are happy to help you come up with an idea, or set you free to showcase something you love showing others to do! The goal is for us to grow in our faith through creativity, fun, worship, and fellowship across age groups. Please click here to register and mark your pizza preference!
