Who We Are

We are a diverse Christian community where people of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. As a community, we encourage one another to follow the way of Jesus so that God’s love is more clearly reflected in ourselves, our community, our nation, and the world. We haven’t “made it,” nor are we perfect. But we believe that when we search for God’s presence together, commit to growing in faith, and intentionally serve our community and the world, God’s hopes for the world come closer to reality.
Whoever you are, wherever you have been, we’d be delighted to be a part of your journey. Let’s imagine, together, a world where love is the way.

What We Believe

Along with the Bible and Christian traditions passed down throughout history, our beliefs and actions are informed by the Apostle’s Creed, the earliest confession of the Christian faith, and The Episcopal Church’s Baptismal Covenant, our unique understanding of how Christians, both individually and corporately, follow the way of Jesus.
Good Samaritan is a Christian community that welcomes questions, embraces mystery, and recognizes that, while anchored in history and tradition, our beliefs are still being informed and shaped by the Holy Spirit.

What We Do

Discover God’s Love

When we gather together as a church, we believe God is with us. If you long to discover or rediscover the presence of God in your life and in our world, join us for worship.

Grow in Faith

Whether you are new to faith, a person of life-long faith, or still exploring what faith means in your life, there is a place for you and your family to discover and grow at Good Samaritan.

Serve Others

We look for ways to live out our faith by serving the world. Join a community that attempts to practice what it preaches and is not afraid to be involved in social issues.
