YOUTH

Ministry

Discover who they are, discover who God is, grow in faith and learn to live with purpose.

Life can be full of anxiety and pressure for youth in our community. Many of our youth are incredibly busy with school, activities, friends, and family. In the midst of all that busyness, it can be difficult to find a safe place to pause long enough to discover and grow into the things that matter most in life. Our youth programs provide space for teens in 6th to 12th grade to discover who they are, discover who God is, grow in faith, and learn to live with purpose in our world.

THERE ARE MANY WAYS FOR YOUTH TO GATHER AND BE PART OF THE COMMUNITY

Serving Others

Our Christian faith calls us to serve others and we take that seriously in our youth ministry. We participate in Good Samaritan’s outreach ministry, Faith in Action as a way build relationships with diverse peoples, connect with God, and put our faith into action. Youth are welcome to help with our Issaquah Meals ministry, by cooking or serving meals on the second Saturday of the month.  Click here to sign up.
Our youth have reported that some of the most meaningful gatherings are those that allow them to interact with adults and to serve as members of the church which is why we love to include youth in our worship time in any of the following roles:  usher, reader, acolyte, choir member, or coffee hour host.
