Good Friday

Friday, March 29, 2024 | 6:30 pm

Good Friday invites us into the stark reality that Jesus really and truly died on the cross. We will begin our service by reliving the stations of the cross with a procession and readings from Jesus’ Passion. We will then prayer the solemn collects, ancient and sacred prayers for the church and for the world. Next comes the Veneration of the Cross, an opportunity to contemplate the paradox of the cross as a symbol of death and also as a path to Resurrection. And we will share communion from the reserved sacrament, consecrated on Maundy Thursday.
