Altar Guild Good Samaritan's Altar Guild A Prayer For use when serving at the Altar*: Give me an open mind, O God, a mind ready to receive and to welcome such new light of knowledge as it is thy will to reveal to me. Let not the past ever be so dear to me as to set a limit to the future. Give me courage to change my mind, when that is needed. Let me be tolerant to the thoughts of others and hospitable to such light as may come to me through them. Amen. For informtion about flowers, please contact Sally Hayes - MustangHayes@msn.com |

The work of the Altar Guild goes on quietly behind the scenes and is often unnoticed. The Altar Guild is a special ministry whose mission is to care for everything that relates to the Altar. Volunteers, working in teams of two, assuming the responsibility of preparing the altar for all services, including care of vestments and linens, flowers, and replenishing the supply of bread, wine and candles.
