Adult Lenten Sunday Morning Series - "The Bible Says What?"

Do you ever wonder if the Bible is relevant, or what to do with those really odd stories? Is it just another religious book that is used to promote someone's ideology or politics, or is it something else? On Sunday, April 3rd, at 9:15 a.m., we'll begin a six-week exploration of the Bible. We'll discuss how the Bible was formed, what kind of book it is, and how to interpret it, especially those parts that seem just plain silly to our modern sensibilities. Doubters and skeptics are welcome!

Education for Ministry

Education for Ministry (EfM) is a unique four-year distance learning certificate program in theological education based upon small-group study and practice. Since its founding in 1975, this international program has assisted more than 80,000 participants in discovering and nurturing their call to Christian service. EfM helps the faithful encounter the breadth and depth of the Christian tradition and bring it into conversation with their experiences of the world as they study, worship, and engage in theological reflection together.  Good Samaritan's classes are currently full and meet on Wednesday nights.
