All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes TONIGHT!
Join us between 6-8:00 p.m. for a pre-Lenten feast!  Pancakes, bacon, sausage, and biscuits and gravy are on the menu. We will have activities for the kids, a pancake relay, egg race, and more. Donations accepted at the door. Suggested donation: $10/adult, $5/child, $25/family. All proceeds go towards our High School Youth Group’s mission trip to Philadelphia this summer.

TOMORROW, February 10th – Ash Wednesday Services
7:00 a.m. – Imposition of Ashes and Holy Eucharist
6:00 p.m. – Imposition of Ashes and Holy Eucharist

Imposition of Ashes and Holy Eucharist at both services. If you can’t attend services here, you are encouraged to participate in worship somewhere that day. On Ash Wednesday many in our tradition engage in the disciplines of fasting or reconciliation (confession). If you would like to schedule a time for the Rite of Reconciliation, contact Fr. Steve at frsteve@goodsamepiscopal.org

SUNDAY, February 14th – First Sunday of Lent
Worship services will include the recitation of the Great Litany (sung at the 10:30 a.m. service) — a very practical, tangible way for you to enter more deeply into Lent. Dent Davidson will be leading worship music at the 10:30 a.m. service.

Adult Lenten Sunday Morning Series – “The Return of the Prodigal Son”
On the five Sundays of Lent, the 9:15am adult forum will journey through Henri Nouwen’s book, “The Return of the Prodigal Son: A Story of Homecoming.” Based on Luke 15 and Rembrandt’s seventeenth century painting of the story of the Prodigal Son, we will explore the main characters in the story and how they relate to our understanding of ourselves and God. Copies of the book will be available for $10.00 each.

Pastoral Care Information
If you or any person in the parish has a pastoral emergency or is admitted to the hospital, please email Father Steve at frsteve@goodsamepiscopal.org or call the church office at (425) 868-2123. Please make sure to leave enough detail in your message so that Fr. Steve will know how to respond. If anyone in the parish is unable to receive Holy Communion at a Sunday worship service because of illness or some other indisposition and wishes to receive a visit with the Administration of Communion, please let Fr. Steve know so that arrangements can be made.
Good Samaritan Prayer Requests
Every week we pray for one another, family, friends, neighbors and those we do not know, in the Prayers of the People. If you would like someone included in the prayers, please contact the church office at (425) 868-2123 or office@goodsamepiscopal.org. Names will remain in the prayer cycle for three weeks, but you are welcome to renew requests as needed.
